A Little Doctor Who-mor (Get it?)
The fine people at How It Should Have Ended have decided to step away from their usual movie parodies to whip up a cartoon for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special this week, because apparently they’re as big of Whovians as the rest of us! So if you don’t watch Doctor Who, you probably won’t have any idea what’s happening here. If you do watch Doctor Who, this is a retelling of the (almost) final goodbye between The Doctor and Rose Tyler. It’s pretty funny.
Of course, as we all know, Rose came back several times, and also comes back in the 50th anniversary special. But still, who knew their style could fit David Tennant so well? Alons-y!
The Only Batman vs. Superman Fight We Really Need to Worry About
The Batman/Superman film may be making all the headlines these days, but let’s give it up for those wacky voice actors!
The idea that former Superman voice actor Tim Daly and his son Sam, who also voices Superman, would go around making fun web videos is just the neatest thing ever. That they brought Kevin Conroy into the mix is just plain boss. Thanks to Henchperson Xavier for the tip!
Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 11/16/13
The week after Marvel puts a new Thor movie in theaters, they put a new Thor comic on the shelves. I hope someone in their publishing division got a promotion out of that genius move. The comic even has Malekith in it! Talk about synergy! Marvel should also be grateful that Jason Aaron writes an awesome Thor. Who could have guessed that the Asgardian God would be such a hot commodity these days?
He’s not alone, we’ve got swell comics for Batman, Nightwing, Spider-Man and the X-Men. Though Superman and Wonder woman break the streak with their ho-hum attempt at romance. Oh well. Love isn’t for everybody. But it might be for the teenagers in the original X-Men. Those kids are all about feelings. The hilarious and adorable All-New X-Men #18 wins Comic Book of the Week with ease. Check out their fancy new costumes!

Will We See a Kingdom Come Batman in the Man of Steel Sequel?
Rumors are swirling left and right about the upcoming Batman/Superman movie, everything from Wonder Woman and Flash having cameo appearances, to the batsuit being based on Jim Lee designs. Normally I wouldn’t write about these kinds of rumors, but now that they involve the possibility of Dick Grayson appearing in the film, I am all over them. I can’t help it. I want Robin to appear in this movie more than I want a low calorie french fry.
Today’s new rumor comes from Warner Bros. producer Daniel Alter who sent out a Tweet about the film this morning that makes me think the Ben Affleck Batman will be based on the comic book series Kingdom Come.
I’m saving the Tweet until after the jump so that you don’t have to be SPOILED if you don’t want to be. There’s also the possibility that this is a total lie and none of it’s true. Such is the problem with rumors. But if that’s the case, who the heck does Daniel Alter think he is that he can make up lies about the new movie?
All thanks to ComicBookMovie.com for finding this Tweet.
Now Angel Gets the Pink Slip
Peter Holmes is at it again with his Ex-Men clips. I like the Angel wings they made, they look pretty awesome. But I think Holmes is losing track of what made the first one so funny. He was actually kind of in character when firing Wolverine. Now he’s just giggling at the most obvious X-Men traits. Still funny though.
