Walking Dead Trailer Delivers Them Chills and Thrills!

I’ve stuck with The Walking Dead this whole time and still very much enjoy the show. The new season premieres in October, as always, and Comic Con has delivered a big, rip-roaring trailer!

Looks good to me! Bring on the war!

I Am Loving This Modern Orc Cop Movie!

I love the premise of the movie Bright, coming out soon on Netflix. It’s a premise I’ve actually given some thought to writing in the past: put the conventions of medieval fantasy into a modern day setting. So here we have Will Smith teaming up with a rookie orc cop investigating some eleven mysteries. Just see for yourself.

Brilliant! Orcs, elves, magic wands in a real world, Training Day-esque setting. Sign me up! Make this movie happen and come out soon! Sadly, December is not soon enough.

New Inhumans Trailer Still Looks Terrible

Comic Con has brought us a new trailer for the upcoming Inhumans show, and it’s pure garbage. Like, it’s clearly cut and cued like a professional trailer, but the material is just nonsense and terrible.

Somebody definitely wants to make a great trailer, but it just didn’t work out. The special effects are especially terrible. Can you believe Medusa’s hair in that trailer? Holy cow, that looks terrible! How did they let that see the light of day? And the makeup is bad, too. Triton just looks plain weird!

Inhumans might be the first Marvel project that I think looks bad from the get-go. This isn’t going to turn out well.

First Look at Pacific Rim 2!

Comic Con news is going to come hard and fast this weekend, and I am the worst possible person to try and keep up with it. Oh my god, you guys, I am so lazy. Regardless, I like to pick and choose the news that interests me most to post about on my blog! As such, here is the first teaser trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising! Pretty neat.

And yes, that’s totally John Boyega!

It’s funny how the movie Attack the Block has since produced two of the biggest names in sci-fi. Watched that movie the other night and it was great.

I don’t know what to expect from Pacific Rim: Uprising. I’m very disappointed that we won’t be continuing the story of Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori directly. Give Mako a franchise and she could become the biggest Asian female action hero in history! She’s going to appear in Uprising in some capacity, but I’m pretty sure she won’t be a lead character again. What a rip!

No Sign of Robin Yet in Batman Telltale

A sequel to the Telltale Batman game was announced, but there’s no sign of Robin! Why does that matter? It matters to me!

Looks fine. Riddler is always a fun guy, and I’m sure his gimmick can go a long way in Telltale’s style. I liked the first one and I’m sure I’ll like this second one, too!
