Thomas Jane, the star of the detested (by me) Punisher film from 2004, decided to make his own Punisher fan film for kicks and giggles. It’s actually pretty damn good – even if Punisher is a little slow in dealing out punishment.

One of my favorite geek songs I’ve posted on my blog over the past year was The Skyrim Epic Rap by a guy named Dan Bull. The man clearly maxed out his ‘speechcraft’ talent tree, if you know what I mean. So after cruising the Internet a bit more, I’ve found a few additional Skyrim raps by Dan Bull, and even one for Diablo 3! So awesome!

Boy howdy. Of course my first vacation of the year coincides with the San Diego Comic-Con, so I’ve missed out on giving you people all manner of cool updates and news. Though I also have to consider that there are plenty of more professional websites doing just that and probably doing a better job.
Someday Henchman-4-Hire will be at San Diego…though probably as a janitor or something.
At any rate, I need to gather up all of the good comic-con news and put up a big post later tonight or tomorrow. Until then, enjoy some funny Dark Knight Rises humor.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Y: The Last Man, I’ll give you a synopsis:
A mysterious plague has wiped out every human male on the planet, except for one. How does the hero cope as the last of his kind, in a world ruled by women? It’s smart, well-written, genuinely funny at times, and now it has its own fan-film.
I wish I could draw as well as ~the-madman. Then I could cast off this silly existence based on writing!
