It Will Never Stop Being Funny That the Amazing Spider-Man Uses Bing
Honest Trailers is back, this time parodying The Amazing Spider-Man.
Each and every one of these that they have made has been gold, or at least the ones I’ve seen. And they’re clearly having a lot of fun poking holes in some pretty popular movies. Even though I loved The Amazing Spider-Man, there’s no denying that Screen Junkies are right on the mark about this. No teenage science geek like Peter Parker would stoop to using Bing!
Animated Axe Cop Wishes You a Happy Halloween
The words ‘animated Axe Cop’ alone should be enough to make your eyeballs melt with buttery excitement.
And the fact that he’s voice by Ron F&cking Swanson is just perfect. Who hired him for the voice? They deserve a Nobel Peace Prize. We’ve known for awhile now that Fox’s Animation Domination is working on an Axe Cop cartoon, and this video appears to be a test animation to see how it’s coming along. I declare that it’s absolutely perfect!
Nintendohemian Rhapsody – Yes, You Heard Me
Behold, the Internet has given us what may be the greatest web parody video ever!
Words cannot contain the brilliance of the above video. It speaks to the heart and soul of all gamers, and all lovers of great things. Brought to glorious life by Pat the NES Punk and Brental Floss, I just cannot fathom the time, effort and sheer fun that went into making this video. This is why the Internet exists, people. So that geniuses like these guys can share their genius – and love of video games – with the world. Shine on, you crazy awesomes. Shine on!
Bad Packaging? Or Greatest Transformers Idea Ever?
So the other day I was reading a list of 21 Terrible Knock-Off Action Figures at BuzzFeed. Pretty typical stuff. But then I saw this one the list:
The Titanic…as a Transformer! I know it’s a knock-off toy, but it’s a brilliant idea! Why haven’t they done this as a legitimate Transformers idea before? Take some of the greatest vehicles in history, and retroactively say that they were Transformers! The Titanic, the First Model T, the Lusitania, the Wright Bros. plane, anything! Everything!
Or better yet, let me write the story! Who has the Transformers comic book license these days? Somebody get them on the phone for me, we have to talk business!
Frosty the Snowman vs. Zombies!
Winter is coming early here at Henchman-4-Hire, with this awesome stop-motion music video by Sufjan Stevens.
Or maybe it was by Lee Hardcastle, hard to say. Hardcastle seems to have done the animation. Still, what a wonderful holiday treat. It has zombies, it has an evil Santa Claus, and a Frosty the Snowman who kicks ass, takes names and is probably chewing his fair share of bubblegum. This kind of stuff takes real skill, skill that I wish I had. But thankfully, I have blogging skill, and can simply share this awesom stuff!
