My Absolute Favorite Video on Youtube of All Time

I just thought it was high time I shared this part of my life with you fine people. There’s just so much purity in this moment. It’s my ‘plastic bag flowing in the wind’…if that reference isn’t too dated. And it makes for a nice start to this Monday morning.

6 Things I Want For My Birthday

Happy Birthday to me! That’s right, even we bloggers have birthdays, and mine is this weekend! I even have it off from work. How cool is that? Not that I plan on throwing a big party or anything. Maybe a movie with some friends, and a big, succulent, decadent chocolate cake. That’s good eats.

Resistance is futile!

In an effort to make me feel old, I’m going to willingly reveal to you fine readers that I’ll be turning 31. Some will say that 31 is a scary age…and they’re absolutely right! Jeez! I’m 31?! How did that happen?!

Ahem. Sorry about that. At least they say you’re only as old as you feel, and I don’t feel 31. I feel young enough to actually make a list of presents I want on my birthday! Join me after the jump for possibly my most selfish List of Six ever!

Iron Man 3 Gag Reel on This Slow, Slow Tuesday

In bigger news, I got my first smartphone today. I know what you’re thinking: how can I consider myself a geek if I’ve never owned a smartphone before. It’s simple; I’m not a tech geek. I’m a comic book geek. And I’ve always been behind the curve on tech. I was several years late to getting my first cell phone, and even then I had to get it from a family member for Christmas. I’ve been using pre-paid burner phones for a decade now, but have finally decided to take the plunge and get a smart phone – a Samsung Galaxy S3, in fact. We’ll see how it goes.

Anybody know any good games or apps I should get?

GTA 5 is Coming, and Me Without an X-Box

I found this picture online the other day, comparing the game map of Grand Theft Auto 5 with that of Grand Theft Auto 4…and I am quite impressed.

Humina humina humina

Unfortunately, here I sit with my X-Box still on the fritz. It’s been more than a month since my X-Box died on me again, and this was a new (used) one I bought in the hopes that I could get more than just two months out of it. Stupid local retailers. Anyway, I’m just doing a little sharing. I’m going to contact X-Box this week to get it repaired. I think it’s going to be about $100 – which I barely have right now – and I’ve heard good things about their repair process. So $100 and in a few weeks, I’ll get an X-Box back in time to play GTA 5. Sounds good to me.

I’m still dying to play State of Decay too!

I Came, I Saw, I Conquered Boston Comic-Con!

I have returned to the blogowaves a champion, having successfully conquered the monstrous event known as Boston Comic-Con 2013!

If you’re just tuning in, I went to the Boston Comic-Con last weekend, my first visit to Beantown’s comic book convention. I’ve been going to conventions for a few years now, and Boston is my third locale after Baltimore and New York. I haven’t been to San Diego yet, mostly because I live in New York and am mostly broke all the time. It’s not cheap to fly out to California just to be stuck in a massive, unwavering crowd of comic book fans. Just sayin’.

I had an awesome trip. The Boston Comic-Con was smaller than New York, but was still a ton of fun. There were thousands of fans, many many costumes, and more geeky merchandise than I could buy in a lifetime. And seriously, I’d buy it all if I could. I’m that kind of insane. You can also read about the many reasons I love going to comic book conventions on a previous List of Six. They’re just so much fun!

Join me after the jump to hear my tale of Comic-Connery, and check out my awesome, homemade cosplay costume!
