Only One Week Until Grand Theft Auto 5!
And the folks at AVByte are celebrating in style!
More people need to write bombastic musical numbers about my favorite video games. I am eagerly anticipating GTA V. I’ve got my new X-Box 360, my big screen monitor, and I even took a day off from work to extend my weekend. Crazy, I know, but if I don’t use my personal days, I lose’em at the end of the year. Name something better to have used it on.
Let’s All Celebrate the Troops By Hating on Justin Bieber
Who doesn’t love a long, holiday weekend? Laziness, cookouts, good times. So let’s celebrate with a Cinema Sins blast against that Justin Bieber movie. Good luck sitting through it.
Oof, that was harder than I thought. But at least I can say that those 8 minutes were the only 8 minutes I have ever spent acknowledging Justin Bieber in my life. It’s just that kind of a day, I suppose.
Cosplay with a Purpose
The Screen Team made another neat song about cosplaying, and I think all geeks can take this to heart.
What is up with the woman in these videos? I’m sure I’m not the first person on the Internet to wonder this, but I think she’s just there to look pretty and offer…other services. Well she does both very well. And speaking as a guy who is out of every woman’s league, that girl is totally out of that guy’s league. Just sayin’.
Wise Gaming Advice
I am a man who loves cleverness. And clearly this Brental Floss guy is one clever fella. He puts to song what we’re all thinking. You’d have to be some kind of maniac to want to buy the Playstation 4 or the X-Box One on launch day. Follow the talking Game Boy’s advice: be staunch, don’t buy at launch.
Wolverine the Puppet Musical May Be the Greatest Thing Ever Made
I am no stranger to hyperbole, so believe me when I tell you that this video is probably the greatest thing the Internet has ever produced.
A chorus of Multiple Men? Seriously!? Was this video made specifically for me? Did some just and loving god look down from the heavens and imbue Glove and Boots to be the bearer of His good word? The songs are well-written, the puppetry is beyond amazing, and they used Multiple Man, people! Multiple Man! I wish I could blog this a hundred times over. It’s…I should hire a poet.
If The Wolverine movie is even half as good as this puppet musical, then this is a world worth living in.
