First Official Looks at Ant-Man, Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Marvel has released a preview video of all of their upcoming movies, and while I don’t have the actual video, I have the next best thing: screenshots! Though I suppose you could always click here to go see the video. Your call.

Along with some neat talk about all of the upcoming movies, especially Iron Man 3, the video shows us some of the first official looks at Ant-Man, Falcon and Winter Soldier. But I’m going to save them for after the jump.

I wouldn’t want to spoil anybody! Seriously though, click the jump, because they look awesome. I especially love the look of Ant-Man. It may not be the finished design, but it’s brilliant nonetheless.

6 Joes That Should Appear in the Next G.I. Joe Movie

I saw G.I. Joe: Retaliation this past weekend, and I rather enjoyed it. The film had a lot of great action, a good story and some fantastic characters. And that’s half the fun of G.I. Joe, right? Awesome characters? Or maybe they’re the other half of the battle…Anyway, if you were a kid in the 80s like me, then G.I. Joe was one of the coolest cartoon/toy combinations available. There were dozens, if not hundreds, of unique, individual characters, each with their own awesome style. Not to mention amazing vehicles, playsets and more. Does anybody else remember the Rolling Thunder?

Hells yeah, you do!

The Joes have a deep bench of characters, which might explain why the cast in G.I. Joe: Retaliation is almost completely different than in the first Joe movie (with the exception of Snake Eyes, of course, who we all know is the best G.I. Joe). Or maybe they just wanted to distance themselves from The Rise of Cobra. Either way, we can almost guarantee there’s going to be a threequel, which means more Joes! Here are the six classic G.I. Joes that I think would be great for the big screen.

This Is The End Movie Trailer

I just heard about this movie this past weekend, and it looks pretty funny. Basically, This Is The End is about James Franco, Seth Rogen and their posse of pals playing themselves in an end of the world scenario.

Though this being Hollywood, I can’t help but feel that this is being made to compete with Edgar Wright’s The World’s End. I think it’s safe to say Wright’s will be infinitely better.

Two The Wolverine Trailers for the Price of One

The first trailers for The Wolverine were released today, and I’m lukewarm to both of them.

First, the international trailer is longer and juicier.

Then the U.S. trailer is a little punchier.

For both of them, I think there are a few cool moments. I like the grounded, gritty take on Wolverine. I think that’ll be strong. But I’m a little worried about the over-reliance on really fake-looking CGI stunts. That fight scene on top of the speeding train looks ridiculous. X-Men Origins: Wolverine was filled with heavy CGI nonsense, I don’t want that to happen with this sequel.

Based on these two trailers, I’m not too excited with what we’re going to get.

The Wolverine comes out on July 26.

3D, of course 3D, dammit

The Second Kick-Ass 2 Trailer is Pretty Good Too

I loved the first Kick-Ass 2 Trailer, and this one is pretty good too. It focuses on Hit-Girl.

I’m definitely excited about this movie. What about you guys? Looking forward to Kick-Ass 2? I think it has the potential to be a sleeper hit, maybe even the best superhero movie of the summer. Kick-Ass 2 is only a sequel, while Iron Man 3 is the threequel. And we all know how well the third movie usually goes for superheroes.
