The Internet is Equal Parts Amazing and Snark

First of all, check out this gorgeous picture of a Disneyfied Doctor Who, drawn by the now Internet famous Stephen Byrne.

I love this picture. It’s stunningly gorgeous, both in the way it really does tap into the look and feel of Disney animation, while also giving each of the Doctors his own perfectly realized look. It’s stunning. My Internet Hat is off to this Stephen Byrne guy for the drawing alone.

But then Byrne goes one step further, and solidifies himself as the winner of the Internet for this month.

A lot of people started criticizing the drawing in terms of accuracy to the real Doctors. For example, the Fourth Doctor was actually fairly tall and lanky, whereas Byrne chose to draw him short and impish. Personally, I love it, but the Internet is a place of great criticism and foolishness.

Fortunately for us all, Bryne’s response was so sarcastic that he may have single-handedly redefined the word.

Take Some Time Out of Your Busy Day to Enjoy the Bounty of What the Internet Has Wrought

The fine people at Alfred Image Works have given us this 5 minute video short about Johnny Express, the best delivery service in the galaxy! And it’s just delightful. And more than a little dark.

I have long been a champion of the Internet and all it can provide. This is the kind of short you might see in front of the new Pixar movie. And that regular people, not Hollywood types, are cranking this stuff out and sharing it online is just the greatest feeling in the world. This video short is well worth your time.

Cats, The Internet and Batman

That’s just plan adorable fun. Cats will always be funny. And as everyone knows, talking cats are my Kryptonite. This little bit of daily comedy was brought to us by Robs Rants.

I Don’t Own Any Simpsons LEGOs Because Money

Did you know that The Simpsons house LEGO set is $200?! What does LEGO think we are, made of money? Or that we’re all money tree farmers? Darn it, I knew I should have gone into money tree farming! I guess I’ll just have to satisfy my desires with all the fun that other people are having with their LEGO Simpsons houses. Like Monsieur Caron, for example.

GLADOS works for NASA now

GLADOS goes to work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and it’s both funny and educational. She only educates a pair of NASA employees about the differences between nuclear fusion and fission, but I could listen to her talk about anything and be entertained.
