This’ll Get You Excited for The Dark Knight Rises!
The Dark Knight Rises debuts tonight at midnight, and I know several people who will be attending the midnight showing! Not me, sadly. I have work on Friday, and the last time I went to a midnight premiere, I didn’t catch up on my sleep until Sunday. I guess I’m getting old. But this super trailer, combining Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises is quite badass.
Swear to Batman!! Over and Over!!
Batman is a master of interrogations! It’s that gravely voice, it gets you every time. You just can’t resist. Also possibly the repeated punches to the stomach and face. Those have to suck.

My 6 Favorite Batman Villains
Batman has the best bad guys in all of comics. From the Joker to Two-Face to Poison Ivy, each one represents a dark reflection of different aspects of Batman’s character. Joker is the chaos to Batman’s order. The duality of Two-Face and Harvey Dent reflects the duality of Batman and Bruce Wayne. Poison Ivy is all about sexuality, which underlines Batman’s own manliness and sexual prowess. Ladies. All of the classic Bat-villains are a dark, twisted version of Batman himself. You can’t say the same thing for any of Spider-Man’s villains.

So with The Dark Knight Rises due to come out this weekend, I’ve decided to share with you my favorite Batman villains. You already know that my favorite character from the world of Batman is his sidekick Robin. But what about the bad guys? Here is the list of my top 6 Batman bad guys! PeeWee Herman Rises
Boy howdy. Of course my first vacation of the year coincides with the San Diego Comic-Con, so I’ve missed out on giving you people all manner of cool updates and news. Though I also have to consider that there are plenty of more professional websites doing just that and probably doing a better job.
Someday Henchman-4-Hire will be at San Diego…though probably as a janitor or something.
At any rate, I need to gather up all of the good comic-con news and put up a big post later tonight or tomorrow. Until then, enjoy some funny Dark Knight Rises humor.
Robin the Boy Wonder Rises
I love Robin, but man that guy takes a lot of flak. But what if the Burt Ward Robin of the 1960s was in the Dark Knight Rises?
The above video was by the sketch comedy troupe Paulilu Mixtape, and it’s pretty darn funny. Poor Robin. He’s never going to live down Burt Ward.
I hope to write up an essay on why I think Robin would fit nicely in the Nolanverse. But then I’ve been planning this essay for years and have never started it. So how will I get it down within the two weeks we have until Dark Knight Rises? I have no idea…but keep your fingers crossed!
