I’m as much a fan of the Last Airbender universe as the next person. I enjoyed the original show, I enjoyed Korra for the most part. I think I was very mid about the first live action season and haven’t gotten around to the second season…so huh, yeah, that seems typical fan to me!

There’s gonna be a new animated movie. It was supposed to go to theaters, but got knocked down to streaming. And then it got super pirated. So this movie has faced a lot of stumbling blocks. I didn’t watch the pirated version. I’m fine waiting for streaming.

Looks fine to me…it also looks just fine. I don’t think the Avatar fandom is strong enough to support a theatrical release, so putting it to streaming makes sense to me. Should be a nice adventure for Team Avatar. I don’t think it looks all that intense or super exciting or all that meaningful…we know the fate of these characters. But…they made it, so I’ll get around to watching it one of these days.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender comes to Paramount+ on July 25.
