I’mma Gonna Recommend Strip Law on Netflix
All these years later, after starting this blog, I don’t do much original writing on this thing anymore. I still keep it going because I like reviewing comics — to an extent — but I also just like keeping my own personal corner of the internet where I can write and post whatever I want. For example, on this Monday, I’mma gonna recommend the cartoon Strip Law on Netflix. Here’s a trailer.
So I like watching these weird, mostly one-off adult animated shows on Netflix. Obviously, Netflix Animation has some great shows, like BoJack Horseman or Arcane. But they also seem to be funding these weird little smaller shows. Like Chicago Party Aunt, Hoops, Exploding Kittens, Centaurworld, Haunted Hotel; and those are just some that I’ve watched! I’m sure I’ve barely scratched the surface.
If you’re like me, then I definitely recommend Strip Law. It’s that weird sort of absurd that I absolutely love. It’s about a straight-laced lawyer learning to let his freak flag fly as he practices law on the Las Vegas Strip, with the focus on insanity over actual legal drama. And then they dial up the insanity when coming up with B and C plots for the supporting characters. It’s a funny, easily binged show that I highly recommend. And I’m not being paid to make this post.
I wish Netflix would pay me to write about their shows…
And I need to figure out how to pitch a Gamer Girl & Vixen irreverent, raunchy, adult cartoon to Netflix…
