I love the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World movie, and I’ve always been disappointed that it is not this grand, beloved hit film. That thing is great! The comics are good too, though I think they got a little lost in the weeds towards the end. So I’m almost fully on board with Netflix making a Scott Pilgrim cartoon/anime that seems to…just recreate the movie? Or maybe it’s gonna focus more on the comic? Or have some original stuff? I can’t really tell.

Whatever this thing is going to be, I’m sure it will be fun! Looks very hectic, very cool and the animation looks stellar. Bringing back the movie actors to be the voice cast in a choice and I hope it works out for them. I didn’t need the cast to come back. I’m sure voice actors need work too. But I’m on board to see how this whole thing goes.

Scott Pilgrim the anime comes to Netflix on Nov. 17.
