Strong Guy Watch: Strong Guy and Multiple Man, Together Again!

The first issue of the new Multiple Man mini-series arrived today, and my hopes and dreams were answered when Strong Guy made an appearance. It helps that Matt Rosenberg is writing both Multiple Man and New Mutants, of course.

For those who don’t know, Strong Guy and Multiple Man are best pal!

They finish each other’s…sandwiches

Though you wouldn’t be able to tell from this comic. Despite being features somewhat prominently as a supporting character in this issue, I don’t think Jamie and Guido say more than two words to each other. Guido never even expresses any real excitement that his best pal is back from the dead.

That’s kind of a downer for a super-fan like me, but after reading the issue, I need to learn to chill out and just let this story be told. Hopefully Strong Guy stays in the mini-series.

About Sean Ian Mills

Hello, this is Sean, the Henchman-4-Hire! By day I am a mild-mannered newspaper reporter in Central New York, and by the rest of the day I'm a pretty big geek when it comes to video games, comic books, movies, cartoons and more.

  1. I know, it was so exciting, and yet so weird. I felt let down by the end. I have no doubt we’ll see a full review from you this weekend.

I was also very excited to see the two of them with Rahne. That’s half of Peter David’s X-Factor team reunited! But again, you wouldn’t know it…

    • Yep, full review is already written for Saturday! I think I felt similar to you. It was an exciting issue to have, but it was intentionally weird, which was just slightly offsetting. But I am more than willing to see five issues through to the end.

  2. Really enjoy your Strong Guy watch. My favorite comic book character, ignored by the masses but under observation by Henchman 4 Hire. Arigato!
