New Inhumans Trailer Still Looks Terrible
Comic Con has brought us a new trailer for the upcoming Inhumans show, and it’s pure garbage. Like, it’s clearly cut and cued like a professional trailer, but the material is just nonsense and terrible.
Somebody definitely wants to make a great trailer, but it just didn’t work out. The special effects are especially terrible. Can you believe Medusa’s hair in that trailer? Holy cow, that looks terrible! How did they let that see the light of day? And the makeup is bad, too. Triton just looks plain weird!
Inhumans might be the first Marvel project that I think looks bad from the get-go. This isn’t going to turn out well.

I mean you’re right it could look better for sure, but this is also a TV show not a movie so the CGI budget is going to be pretty lax. I just hope they don’t fall into the Battlestar Galactica trope of spend 4 episodes on plot and on the fifth episode blow the special effects budget, then start over again.
While it is a TV show, they’re definitely putting movie-level stuff into making this thing. That’s why it’s going to debut on IMAX instead of just on TV.
True, I’m not that familiar with the Inhumans beyond some of the crossover events, so I’m just excited for them to get a TV show. hahaha
I fully admit that I am a little biased against them, but I will readily support the show if it’s good.
Those hair effects. Why? Why do these people so clearly hate hair? That is the only explanation for why Medusa’s hair looks so terrible. The effects for her hair would’ve looked cheesy 20 years now. Now? It’s just unacceptable.
Agreed. It would look better if they’d used strings and a real wig.
