Enjoy This Batman: Arkham Knight Launch Trailer While I Cry Salty Tears

I just…I just couldn’t do it. Upgrading my PC to handle Arkham Knight would have cost way too much money. I…oh God…I won’t be playing Batman: Arkham Knight today.

Oh man. That’s beautiful. The narration, the action, the characters, the Robin, the music. It’s…it’s gonna be a great game.

OK Sean, no more crying! You’re gonna save money! You’re gonna put a little aside each week! You’re gonna look for sales! You’re gonna do this! Yeah!

Though I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews in the Steam store. Apparently the PC version is bugging as all heck!

  1. Don’t forget that on top of upgrading your computer, you’d have to pay about $100 in order to be able to actually get all of the content.

My computer can play this game, but I am choosing not to buy it. I don’t like it when publishers treat clients like fatted calves.

    • The new graphics card at Best Buy comes with a copy of the game for free! So maybe I’ll snag that deal…and then buy DLC like the fatted calf I am. I need me some Red Hood missions!

      • http://www.polygon.com/2015/6/23/8831325/batman-arkham-knight-pc-issues I would wait at least six months if I were you. Remember: The last Batman game was a broken mess, and they never fixed any of the bugs because they were busy making DLC.

Warner Brothers seems to treat their game clientele with the same consideration as they treat their comic clientele, apparently.

      • Oh yeah, I’m reading all about this today. Fascinating and terrible. I hope I can warn my friend in time not to buy the game!

      • You’ll need to do it in slow-motion and shouting “Nooooooooooooooooooooo—“

      • There’s even more WTFery going on. Apparently people who got the game via a freebie with a top of the range NVIDIA graphics card had the pre-order bonuses (i.e. Harley DLC) revoked 2 hours before launch and now must buy them separately.

This launch has now officially eclipsed the mess of a launch of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Unity

      • Man, I was this close to buying that NVIDIA graphics card too!
