The Only Thing That Really Matters About the New Mortal Kombat X is That It Won’t Have Smoke
The kombatant Smoke is my all-time favorite video game character. So you can imagine how excited I was for his prominent role in the last Mortal Kombat game, that big reboot one. It was awesome. Well the sequel, Mortal Kombat X, is set some 25 years in the future…and I think he’s supposed to be dead…so I’m not as excited about this game.
Of course, there’s also the fact that I don’t own any consoles that can play Mortal Kombat X, and I’m still saving up for a better computer. So I’m stuck just admiring how badass the trailer looks. At least I’ll always have that.

Or a playable Goro unless you preorder. Smoke can still be in it. Secrets are everywhere.
That’s true! You’ve kept my hope alive…for now.
Considering Kung Lao and Kitana were killed in the last game I don’t think dead is going to stop a character from coming back, so good luck with Smoke!
That said I’m mostly just waiting for Kenshi to appear as part of the main game instead of DLC and for Ashrah to make a comeback.
You have some obscure tastes in Kombatants, my friend!
Ashrah was the only good character introduced in MK Deception, a demon that kills other demons in an effort to redeem herself and being purified out of the darkness of the netherrealm, with some extremist and obsessive qualities that made her being not completely good, she kinda made an impression on me, that and she is the only female MK character with a costume that isn’t fanservice (even her “sexier” alt costume is relatively modest), which for some reason only makes me find her more attractive, I’m weird like that.
We’re all weird like that. That’s some good, quality reasoning!
