Animated Miles Morales!
The world announced today that Donald Glover, from Community, was going to voice Miles Morales in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon – which means that Ultimate Spider-Man finally gets to appear in Ultimate Spider-Man! That’s good news and all, but I’m even more excited for animated Miles Morales! He’ll probably never show up on the big screen, but this is cool nonetheless.
Glover is pretty awesome in the role. I kind of want to watch Ultimate Spider-Man now.
And for anybody keeping track, I totally owe you guys a review of the last issue of Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man. I’ll get to it, I’ll get to it.

This seems like an adaptation of the Spider-Men storyline. I liked that story. I love Miles Morales! He’s probably the best kid in comics right now! This is great!
You’re right! It’s definitely going to feature stuff from Spider-Men, but I believe it’s part of a larger storyline for just the cartoon, where normal cartoon Spidey is going to team up with a bunch of different alternate Spideys to face the Green Goblin.
Even though I’ve never read an issue of Morales Spider-man, I’ve always liked him wherever I’ve seen him.
If I’ve got any issue, it’s that Donald Glover definitely doesn’t sound like a 13 year old. But I can live with that.
Sometimes you’ve just got to do something great for the world, like casting Donald Glover as Spider-Man, even if it isn’t perfect.
Oooh… this is nice! Maybe we can see Ganke Lee too!
I would be so in favor of ditching Peter Parker completely and launching a Miles Morales-only cartoon!
