UPDATE: Check out this 15 second teaser clip in preparation for tonight’s trailer release! Looks awesome!

I wish I had the first Guardians of the Galaxy trailer for you right now, but the fools of the world decided to debut it instead on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. I’m not about to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live, so I’ll be waiting for when it hits the web. But if you want to stay up, knock yourselves out.

To tide us all over, Marvel was kind enough to release this beautiful official image!

They don’t look half bad

Looks pretty awesome to me. This trailer is going to either kick the most ass ever, or it’s going to reveal Guardians of the Galaxy to be a huge bomb! I’m hoping for the former.

    Drax is supposed to be green. Otherwise, they don’t look bad. I hope they use Rocket’s new catchphrase. Guess I’ve actually got a reason to watch Kimmel for once.

      I think he’s still green, they’ve just really played up the body markings. And what’s Rocket’s new catch phrase?

        You’re right. The teaser shows him as green-ish, but not very brightly. The pic seems like it has the same effect, but because it’s kind of light, I think it looks like beige-with-tats. He should be as obviously green as Gamora. Rocket’s new catchphrase is “Blam! I just murdered you!”, also used without the “I just” at times, or other similar words after the “Blam!”.
