Capaldi Looking Classy

He’s gonna stomp those Daleks!

Check out Peter Capaldi’s official ‘uniform’ as The Doctor. I kind of like it. I’m sure we’ll have to wait to see it in motion, but it’s classy, colorful and a little badass, especially in the boots. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until the fall to see Capaldi in the new season of Doctor Who. Suffice to say, my hopes are definitely up.

Capaldi had this to say about the costume:

He’s woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 per cent Rebel Time Lord

Rebel Time Lord? I like the sound of that.

About Sean Ian Mills

Hello, this is Sean, the Henchman-4-Hire! By day I am a mild-mannered newspaper reporter in Central New York, and by the rest of the day I'm a pretty big geek when it comes to video games, comic books, movies, cartoons and more.

  1. Neat. I like the red on the inside of the jacket, but it being open like that makes it look too short, like it should be around ankle length, and what’s with that awkward single button at the top?
    Also, he needs a hat.

    • I too like the red. What kind of hat would be good? I’m thinking some kind of badass newsboy hat. I’m sure he’ll acquire more as the series goes along. Matt Smith didn’t start out with a fez, after all.

Also, maybe one buttons are in these days?

      • I don’t think he needs a hat or anything special. As the past 3 Doctors have catchphrases such as ‘Brilliant!’ and ‘Fantastic!’, I think Capaldi’s catchphrase should be a swear word.

      • I’m torn as to whether or not I should do any Peter Capaldi research before the new season starts. I haven’t even gone back to rewatch the Pompeii episode just to see what he’s like.
