Yep, Going with Froakie – New Pokemon Starter Evolutions Revealed
I’m sure everyone is very interested in my plans for the upcoming Pokemon X and Y game, specifically who I am going to choose for my starter pokemon. It’s a pretty big deal, dividing pokemon fans into three distinct camps since the start of the franchise. Are you a fire, water or grass starter? I have been a loyal pokemon player since Red/Blue, and don’t plan on breaking my streak of playing when X/Y comes out on Oct. 12. Based on the initial appearance of the starters, I decided to go with Froakie, the water frog. He looks pretty cool.
Froakie, Fennekin and Chespin
Well leaked images of the starters’ middle forms have hit the web, and clearly Froakie is still the favorite. I don’t know what the heck happened to Chespin.
I assume all of that Japanese is laughing at Chespin
Froakie becomes Gekogashira, Chespin becomes Hariboogu, and Fennekin evolves into Teerunaa.
So whereas Froakie evolves into an even more ninja gecko, Chespin evolves into a booger. It’s right there in the name!
The final evolutions have yet to be revealed! So stay tuned to my random pokemon coverage!

I like Froakie’s look, but I’ll probably pick Squirtle as the Kanto starter and I’d hate to pick two water types.
That is going to be a tough decision! I’m trying to decide still who my Kanto starter’s going to be. I’m a Bulbasaur fan all the way, but he was my starter back when I played Pokemon Blue all those years ago. I guess I’ll have to go with Charmander…
