Lego X-Men May Be Even Cooler Than Lego Avengers
I give you Lego Deadpool.
I was kind of excited about the Avengers Legos that I posted the other day. But further search of the Lego sets at this year’s Toy Fair convention in New York City have revealed the first (of hopefully many) X-Men Lego sets! And we’re talking comic book X-Men sets. None of that movie crap.
The set features Wolverine, Deadpool and Magneto in some kind of helicopter-based battle. Why a helicopter? Who knows!? Who cares!? It’s X-Men Legos!
And here’s a close-up of the mini-figs.
The X-Men are a brilliant license for Legos. They have been doing some amazing things with mini-figs recently. The bodies are heads are incredibly detailed, with mind-blowing accessories. So imagine if Lego could cut loose with the entire cast of X-Men characters? Cyclops, Emma Frost, Toad, Iceman, Archangel, Beast, Storm, Jubilee, there are just so many!
Say it with me now…Lego Multiple Man!
That’s a custom mini-fig made by Tin7.

Ok so here’s my ideal LEGO mini fig:
1.Pirate Captain’s legs (including the peg leg)
2. Darth Vader’s Torso and arms.
3. Batman’s cape.
4. Captain America’s shield in one hand.
5. Indiana Jones’s whip in the other.
6. Magneto’s helmet.
7. Harry Potter’s head.
8. He will also be riding on a LEGO octopus.
Your turn!
You’re on!
1. Bag-piper legs, complete with kilt accessory.
2. Legionairre Torso with one robot arm.
3. Big-collared Dracula cape.
4. Red lightsaber in one hand.
5. Alien ray-gun in the other.
6. Loki’s helmet.
7. Darth Maul’s head.
8. He will also be riding on a LEGO Tauntaun.
Ok, so in my attempt to come up with something better, I google searched “LEGO Mini Figs.” Now that I know that LEGO has made EVERYTHING, I don’t want to play anymore. However, I would keep what I had before but definitely make one arm a robot arm, change Indiana Jones’s whip to an electric guitar. And give him the Olympic gold medal. It is both awesome and terrible that I could go out right now and buy enough LEGOs to make this thing. Maybe someday….
I know, right? Jeez. So many wild varieties of mini-figs. You told that story once about the dad buying his kid figure after figure. They sell them separately now! It’s insane.
