Free Batman: Arkham City Skin!

A lot of Batman: Arkham City players have been visiting my blog lately, so I thought I’d do a public service announcement and let everyone know that the game-makers, Rocksteady, are offering a free Batman skin for the holidays! It’s a big ‘Thank You’ to all their loyal players. I downloaded it earlier, it’s pretty cool. It comes from the recent Batman Inc. series by Grant Morrison.

Here’s a picture:

I love free stuff, especially if it involves Batman

There are several more skins, but you have to pay for them. I have to wonder how much work actually goes into these skins. One would think it wouldn’t be too hard to make new ones of every single Batman variation of all time. It sucks that they charge for them. Remember back in the day when alternate costumes were unlocked with a code?

Those were the good times.

Check out this article at GamesRadar for more information and a special code for more costumes.

  1. Lol I laughed at the part about Arkham city fans visiting lately. ;p don’t mean to comment on all your stuff. I feel like a stalker haha. But the skin is awesome. I was using it yesterday lol. My favorite skin is the 1970s batman. And then batman beyond. There’s a couple I’ve never heard of, like Earth one I think it is. Btw, I do like other games and things lol. Batman is just the best hero ever. Lol. 😉 thanks for indulging me with this post and your replies ^_^

  2. Thank you for helping bring my blog to life with comments and activity! Otherwise it’d just be me typing away about geeky stuff without knowing if anybody’s reading or enjoying it.

Batman: Earth One is a comic that I don’t think they ever got around to publishing.

    • Lol. I’ll keep reading and commenting and sharing too 🙂 you’ve got a great blog here. I stumbled upon it by accident, I think I was googling something, and I’m glad I did. ^_^

Oh ok. I was wondering why I’ve never heard of him. I don’t remember Year One batman either. I’m guessing a few of them are from comics?

      • Random Googling is an awesome way to find stuff. And I think most of the skins are from comics. Like the Dark Knight Returns skin. Though there is the animated one, and the Batman Beyond skin.

  3. Wow very cool, Yeah that goes for me too your blog is awesome and mamma has been quite helpful too thanks for everything and will stay in touch. Mamma I hope you got my message about the reverse batarang….

    • I did Robert 🙂 thanks. I’ll try it again as soon as this little one goes to sleep haha 🙂 I’m glad you got it to work. Thanks again 🙂

      • That reverse Batarang gave me trouble too. For the longest time I thought it was the remote-controlled Batarang.

      • Okay momma, It’s really too simple, I felt stupid after I figured it out. You pull up the remote batarang and find you a random thug in the street on the story map standing around and brfore he notices you pull on your LT button and lock in on him then hold your RB down until your reverse feature locks on him then release the RB while still holding down the LT the batarang will automatically deploy and do it’s thing.

      • Is it not? Maybe that’s why it hasn’t been working for me. I think I’m trying with the remote control batarang.

      • Oh wait, according to RobertL it may be the remote-controlled batarang. Now I’m just confusing everybody. Don’t listen to me, it’s been a month at least since I beat that challenge. I think RobertL has got it. But I used to manually try and control the remote-controlled batarang to move behind the guy. But the reverse part is automatic.

      • Hmm.. somehow I must have done it wrong. If I get a chance in going to try again when I get home. Maybe I did it right and got it and didn’t notice lol.

  4. I finally finished everything on the story map, now I’m gonna try and play the second story game, plus.

  5. Hey momma do you play the xbox 360? if so, I’ll give you my gamer tag name and you can look me up on Xbox live and mabe we can play a few games…

  6. I miss when you could unlock alternate costumes by beating challenges. Codes is fine, but it always felt like cheating. Even if I couldn’t beat said challenge, at least I had the option of earning it.
