It’s Like All 30 Years of My Life Coming to Fruition
Simpsons LEGOS. It’s beautiful. They should have sent a poet.
I want to start a Kickstarter campaign just to raise the money to purchase this. I can do that, right? Isn’t that what Kickstarter is for? Or maybe I’ll raise the funds to write a poem about this set. My God. Not only is it the house, but it opens up! And there’s a working garage, with the pink car, and mini-figs of all five family members, plus Flanderses! Oh man, oh man, I’m salivating over here. LEGO Simpsons is probably something I’ve been waiting my entire life to own.
Groundskeeper Willy as Hellboy!
Visionary director and all-around giant robot fanatic Guillermo del Toro was brought in to guest-direct this year’s Treehouse of Horrors Cough Gag on The Simpsons! And sure enough, it’s packed full of del Toro references and comedy.
I haven’t seen a new Simpsons season in years. But it’s good to know that they’re still having fun.
The Simpsons Might Win an Oscar!
This Maggie Simpson animated short is up, I think, for the animated short Academy Award. Should it win? Probably! Though fellow Hench-Person Alyssa Wombat is a big fan of Paperman.
I rather enjoyed this little cartoon. The ending is especially fun. And it would be delightful to see The Simpsons win an Oscar. I’m a long-time Simpsons fan, though, of course, I haven’t seen a new episode in years.
