If I Had a First Born Son, I Would Trade Him for Grand Theft Auto 5 Multiplayer
Hold on to your butts, boys and girls! The first full look at multiplayer in Grand Theft Auto 5 has hit the web, and it’s just as delicious as the single-player trailer from a few weeks ago.
A living, breathing Grand Theft Auto world. A GTA MMO. What they’re proposing here…could there be anything sweeter? Create and customize your own characters and send them through a GTA storyline. Buy new clothes, hairstyles and more for your own character. Buy your own apartment. Buy a garage and fill it with customizable cars that you own. Go golfing with friends. Racing. Swimming. Hooker-killing. Rob banks with your friends.
It’s…it’s almost too good to be true. And it’s only part of the whole package. There’s still the excellent single-player campaign. Oh man, I need to get my X-box fixed stat!
GTA 5 is Coming, and Me Without an X-Box
I found this picture online the other day, comparing the game map of Grand Theft Auto 5 with that of Grand Theft Auto 4…and I am quite impressed.
Unfortunately, here I sit with my X-Box still on the fritz. It’s been more than a month since my X-Box died on me again, and this was a new (used) one I bought in the hopes that I could get more than just two months out of it. Stupid local retailers. Anyway, I’m just doing a little sharing. I’m going to contact X-Box this week to get it repaired. I think it’s going to be about $100 – which I barely have right now – and I’ve heard good things about their repair process. So $100 and in a few weeks, I’ll get an X-Box back in time to play GTA 5. Sounds good to me.
I’m still dying to play State of Decay too!
The Glory of Grand Theft Auto 5
This isn’t just a mere trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5. This is a fully-narrated exploration into all the corners of the new game, everything from crime to leisure activities to playing the stock market in-game. This…this is insane. This may be the most beautiful video game trailer I have ever seen in my life. I am still in awe. Watch, please.
How amazing was all of that!? We finally get to see how the switch between the three characters will work, and it looks so smooth and fun! And wow, just look at all of those awesome things to do! Golfing, bicycling, hunting, buying real estate, buying clothes, playing the stock market, and so much more! My biggest complaint for Grand Theft Auto 4 was that there was nothing to spend money on. Looks like they heard my complaints!
Seriously, though, that video was beautiful. I am drooling. I’m working to hook my X-Box 360 up to my new 27-inch computer monitor, so I’m going to have the game in full HD glory. I can’t wait for September!
Grand Theft Auto 5 Looks Ambitiously Good
Get your new Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer right here, folks!
That just looks fantastic. I’m a huge fan of the Grand Theft Auto games, and I am determined to have a working X-Box again by Sept. 19 to get this game. I was a bit wary about three protagonists, but those three trailers make each one of them seem fascinating. So I’m excited for that. Now all I need to do is start saving up for an HDTV!
Also, how did they do that on Youtube with the three trailers in one video thing? So weird!
Welcome to the Hotel San Andreas!
Grand Theft Auto 5 has been revealed – and we’re going back to the West Coast! Here’s the trailer if you haven’t already seen it a million different places on the Internet today:
I’m excited. Everyone should be excited. Grand Theft Auto is arguably the greatest video game franchise out there. It is one of the rare modern video games that changed how we play them. When Grand Theft Auto 3 hit back in the early 00s, it changed the face of gaming forever. And I was there. Heck, I was there for the fun and hilarity of Grand Theft Auto 2. It still had the open world, but it was all top down. Still an absolute blast to play though.
So any new GTA game is cause to celebrate.
Right now, we can tell from the trailer that the game will take place at least in Los Santos, the GTA version of Los Angeles. Los Santos was last seen in GTA: San Andreas, which was a massive game featuring stand-in cities for Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas, as well as all the countryside in between them.
Will GTA 5 have all 3 cities again? Will it have countryside? Only time will tell!
Now I just need to buy an HD TV before it comes out.
