At the very least, I know he could beat up Matthew Broderick. Enjoy a new Godzilla trailer!

I still don’t know what to make of this movie. It looks like it could be awesome. But it also looks like it could be…I dunno. Each trailer seems exactly the same. And I’m not entirely sure how Bryan Cranston is going to get involved in the fight against Godzilla, or how that will differ from Matthew Broderick’s attempts to understand and fell the beast.

But I’m eager to find out!

It’s a fun trailer, but man oh man, are they really pushing the dramatic rhetoric. That’s 2 solid minutes of men worrying about nature and power and things that aren’t specifically Godzilla. But at least we got some great shots of the big guy! I’m definitely excited for this one. But hopefully the movie isn’t just going to be Bryan Cranston sounding all dramatic while Godzilla rampages somewhere in the background.

Also, does anybody else think Cranston looks really dumb with a full head of hair now?

There’s a new Godzilla movie coming out next year, and this time they’re gonna make it awesome. They promise.
