One of the Greatest Nerd Fears…

Is that writer George R. R. Martin will not finish the Game of Thrones book series before he dies. The guy is super old, he takes forever between books (each of which is several hundred pages), and he’s still got two whole books to go in the series before he says it’ll be complete. Not to mention the fact that HBO now has a TV show that takes one year to turn one book into one season, and it’s already got two seasons down! Well the musical guys at Geeks & Sundry have put together an entertaining little ditty to try and light a fire under Martin’s ass! It’s quite catchy – and don’t worry, no spoilers for the show or books!

The Best Game of Thrones Trailer Since the Real Ones

I am a definite Game of Thrones TV show fan. I’d probably talk about the show more on this blog, but I’d be too afraid of spoiling even a second of this awesome program! If you can watch it, definitely watch it. This fun mash-up trailer takes two characters from the show and positions them as stars of a romantic comedy. It’s a neat little bit of Internet trickery, and I wish I had the talent to make something like this. The video by twinvortex is a little choppy, but don’t hold that against them. It’s fun!

Also, how awesome was the Season 2 finale and cliffhanger!?

Thanks to Topless Robot for the find.

That Game of Thrones Song Everybody Wanted

Musician extraordinaire Adam WarRock has finally written that Game of Thrones rap that everybody everywhere wanted. We geeks love Game of Thrones, we love Adam WarRock and we love geek-flavored songs. So give this one a listen and try and tell me it’s not awesome.

In the Game of Ponies, You Love or You Tolerate

I don’t know why this mash-up of My Little Ponies with the Game of Thrones opening music exists, it just does. That’s how the Internet works. Game of Thrones returns this Sunday, but sadly I don’t want it episode per episode on TV. I’ll wait sometime down the line to see season 2. For now though, enjoy this epic piece by Pony Parodys.

Game of Thrones Season 2 is Coming

It’s true, but you probably knew that already. Still, I loved Season 1, so I’m quite pleased to be sharing this trailer for Season 2. If you didn’t see the first season, this probably won’t mean anything. But for those of us who did, it’s pretty badass.
