Somebody’s Going to See the LEGO Movie!
It’s me! I’m finally going to see The LEGO Movie this weekend! Took me long enough. But speaking of LEGOs, movies and Captain America…
I wish I was such a talented LEGO artist. If I had unlimited time, unlimited funds, and an army of super models to follow my every command, I think I’d spend all my time making awesome LEGO video shorts. Thank you, Antonio Toscano, for this bit of fun.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier Finally Explains the Winter Soldier
There’s no doubt that ‘The Winter Soldier’ is a badass character name, but is he enough to hang an entire movie off? Marvel’s going to find out this Summer in Captain America: The Winter Soldier! At least the new trailer, aired during the Super Bowl, starts to introduce the villain to audiences.
Trailer looks as awesome as the first one! This film definitely stands to be a good one, I hope. And I also hope that audiences really dig Winter Soldier. I think he has potential when it comes to battling Cap, though I’m sure there’s another, bigger villain waiting in the wings. I also hope Falcon doesn’t come off as just a silly sidekick.
Captain America, F*ck Yeah!
They did it with the first Captain America film, and now the Internet has done it with the second: clips from the new Cap 2 trailer set to the famous song ‘America, F*ck Yeah’ from Team America: World Police.
Things like this are why I love the collective, creative spirit of the Internet.
First Trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier Hits All the Right Beats!
The first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier hit the Internet today, and it is awesome in ways I had not predicted.
Oh man, I really liked that trailer! It’s action-packed, but it’s focus is clearly on Steve Rogers, and I think that’s great. His line, “That isn’t freedom, that’s fear” was fantastic! I hope the movie has a lot of that in it. At the same time, both the Falcon and the Winter Soldier seem almost arbitrary to the political action, which I like more. So we’ll see how it all pans out. Captain America 2 has definitely started out on the right foot.
New Captain America 2 Poster Reveals That Cap Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Parachutes
The first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due out in two days (apparently), so Marvel have started the festivities early with the reveal of the first teaser poster! In it, Captain America plainly doesn’t mind standing on an open airplane cargo bay door, mocking the very idea of gravity.
Unless he plans to use his shield like a parachute, which, of course, would be badass.
I’ll post the trailer here as soon as it’s online on Thursday, so stay tuned! I know I’m excited. Also, how cool is it that Marvel is releasing a Captain America movie on the Fourth of July? Thank you, America, for allowing this to happen. That’s possibly going to be the most American Fourth of July of all time! And I say that without a shred of hyperbole or historical accuracy!
