My Girlfriend and I Enjoy a Healthy Time Killing Each Other
Guess what, Assassin’s Creed 3 is going to include multiplayer again!
My girlfriend and I loved the multiplayer option in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, though we never got around to trying it in Revelations (for which I still owe you guys a review). If she and I both get AC3, you can bet we’ll be hunting and slaughtering each other once again! Or better yet, there appears to be a new co-op mode! That’s even better!
Oh Right, Assassin’s Creed 3 Has More Than Just Redcoat Killing
Namely, a plot. The latest trailer actually gives us a look at protagonist Connor and his exciting, upcoming story!
I recently beat Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (review forthcoming), so I’m ready to tackle the upcoming threequel in this amazing series. I only hope I can split my time between Warcraft, AC3 and a million other games I’m playing or I have waiting for me these days. It’s a good time to be a video game nerd.
The above trailer, I think, looks pretty neat. It’ll be fun to get to know a new protagonist after so many games with Italian heartthrob Ezio. The location and setting are definitely up my alley. I’m eager to learn more about the American Revolution and the badass Native American warrior who sliced his way behind-the-scenes.
And want to hear something more awesome? The first round of DLC has already been announced for Assassin’s Creed 3: NAME OF DLC
It’s going to take place in an alternate reality where you have to hunt down and kill King George Washington! Though considering how badass the father of our country looks on his throne, I don’t think it would be such a bad thing if he were King. Has George Washington ever looked so pimp?
Assassinating People With Boats
Apparently the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 is going to have you killing people with boats as well as tomahawks. Sounds nifty keen. Don’t believe me? Well the fine people behind AC3 have put out yet another trailer to prove it!
In related news, I finally purchased Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Now I just need to play it before October.
Assassin’s Creed 3 is Finished, Now They’re Just Making Cool Trailers
Somebody at Ubisoft has a lot of time on their hands, because they just keep coming out with new trailers for Assassin’s Creed 3. Not that I mind, because every new trailer has me wanting the game even more! I’m an American, dammit! And we love badass American history! Enjoy!
Expect Amazing Spider-Man Review on Wednesday
Hey everybody! Not much going on in the world of geekery – well there is some stuff, but I’m working on a bigger post for tomorrow regarding some cool happenings at Marvel Comics. So tune in tomorrow morning for that. But beyond that news, not much. So I figured I’d let everyone know that my review of The Amazing Spider-Man will be up on Wednesday morning, the Fourth of July! I’m not going to the midnight showing tonight, to which I usually go alone. This time I’ve got a buddy who really loves Spider-Man, and we’re gonna see the movie on Tuesday
We went and saw the midnight showing of Spider-Man 3 in costume. He as Spider-Man, and me in a makeshift Venom outfit. Behold!
I made it myself!
That was a blast. Anyway, no costume this year, but now I’m actually writing movie reviews. So it’s a nice trade-off. If you’re eager for my review, be here on Wednesday. I have my hopes up. But The Amazing Spider-Man has been getting some mediocre reviews from some comic book sites I frequent. We’ll see! Let’s hope for the best!
