Getting a Job in the 21st Century
My dream jobs are pretty unobtainable. I want to write comic books for Marvel and DC, or I want to just write novels for a living. I also wouldn’t mind writing for a TV show or a movie. But the reason I’m only a newspaper reporter right now with personal writing on the side is because DREAM JOBS ARE HARD TO GET! How many people do you know are working at their dream job?
For that matter, how do you even apply for your dream job? Well, this girl is using the power of the Interwebs to apply for her dream job! More power to her, I say. I just don’t have to have these sorts of skills. Not even the singing voice.

Apparently this is a parody of a Lady Gaga song. Lady Gaga is one of those musicians, like Amy Winehouse or Justin Bieber, who I never knew existed until they started making news for being controversial…or doing drugs…or being lame. Regardless, a good parody is a good parody. And a great parody features the X-Men as back-up singers!
Cosplay of Epic Proportions
Here is a cosplay picture from a recent convention (either comic book or video game, I dunno) and it is by far one of the best ever. For those who don’t know, ‘cosplay’ is the term for people who dress up in costume when they go to a comic book convention. I’ve done it a few times now. I may even share my cosplay stories someday on this blog. But there’s a picture of cosplay done right, featuring the protagonists from the game Portal 2.

The X-Men Meet The Office
So apparently there’s a new cartoon version of Mad TV (or something) on Cartoon Network. What little I’ve seen of it is very cheesy, as is this mash-up between The Office and the X-Men. Two great things that go great together, like chocolate and peanut butter. But not really. This video is more cheesy than funny, but definitely geeky.
