The Greatest Portal 2 Video Ever
Every so often, something comes along that changes the way you view creativity and the Internet. This is one of those times. The following video is called ‘This is Aperture’, a Portal 2 parody of the song ‘This is Halloween’ from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I love that song, and I love Portal 2. It was posted by a fella (or group) called HarryUK. It is, by far, one of the greatest parody songs I have ever heard. This is Weird Al quality parody.
It is my great pleasure to share with you one of the greatest achievements in Internet comedy ever.
PS, for those that don’t know, Aperture is the name of the evil company in the Portal games.
Wastelander Panda
Behold the random awesomeness that is the Internet, in all of her glory! I don’t know how made this or why, but it’s one of the most exciting trailers I’ve ever seen. I sort of hope it only exists in trailer form, and doesn’t have a real movie attached or a real comedy skit. This is just plain silly and awesome, and that’s exactly what the Internet was invented for, exactly why we fight to defend it!
For panda humor!
DIY Time Travel and Adorability
I am not mechanically gifted, though I do like the general idea of buildings things. Well a Youtube poster called Sillysparrowness has shown that she has those gifts in spades by building her own TARDIS from Doctor Who! And she made an adorable and very funny video about the process. I am both impressed and a little bit in love. Enjoy!
All 16 minutes are worth it.
Thanks to Topless Robot for the find.
Too Good Not to Post
I found these images randomly while surfing the Internets yesterday. If anyone knows the artist, shout it out. Possibly Timothy Lim, whoever that is. Otherwise we’ll just chalk these up to sheer Internet amazingness. These are even better than the Calvin/Han Solo mash-up.
Funny and Adorable Superhero Thing
Update: The clip was finally posted on Youtube! Hooray!
I hate that I haven’t been able to figure out how to embed any sort of video other than youtube. I don’t know if this blog can even do that, or if I simply haven’t figured it out yet. So to see this adorable clip of claymation superheroes, you’re just going to have to follow this link.
It’s well worth it, trust me.
