So I Hit a Parked Car Today

That’s my biggest news of the day. And man did it suck! The Nissan came out of nowhere, right in my blindspot thanks to my overly frosted windows. I think there’s something wrong with my windshield because it gets frost on the inside. That’s not supposed to happen, right? But it’s impossible to completely clear up in the morning, because my heat only comes on when I’ve been driving for a few minutes. It won’t get warm if I just idle. So there I am moseying down the small alley behind my house, I can barely see out the driver’s side of my windshield, let alone the passenger side, and I go to make my turn and CRUNCH!!

How embarrassing.

Fortunately, no harm no trouble. Some plastic broke off their rear bumper, some plastic broke off my front bumper.

Oh, and my passenger side quarter panel bent so that the passenger-side door is wedged shut. Wonderful! That’s gonna need to get fixed.

On top of all of that, there’s absolutely nothing worth blogging about! No good comics to review, no good movie clips, no good comic book news. I thought about going to see the new Ghost Rider movie, but I’m not sure I could squeeze it in.

But rather than leave my blog empty, here’s a funny picture I’ve been holding onto. Laugh at it and laugh at my bad luck Someone should.

The Ultimate Avengers Trailer

I know I posted the real The Avengers trailer only a week or so ago, but then some fans at ScreenRant made this amazing extended trailer. They use footage from all the individual movies to build a larger story, then use all the footage that’s been released so far for The Avengers. This is a movie trailer on steroids, people. And it is gleeful.

Thanks to Topless Robot for the find.

The Space Stallions Will Save Us

I’m not sure sure what this video is – other than incredibly awesome. It may be the single greatest parody video of all time, mocking the cartoons of the 80s with brilliance and wit. Space Stallions is so perfectly made that it could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Silverhawks or Voltron of He-Man! But I don’t think it’s just a parody video, since it has a website – one that doesn’t seem to loud all the way. The Youtube page says it’s a bachelor film project. If so, I hope they got an A.

But whatever it is, come, watch and enjoy. If only this had really been a part of our childhood. Save us Mother Mustang!

OKGO Again Brings the Magic

Those gloriously clever and almost magically unique performers at OKGO have released a new music video in their spectacular style. You may remember them as the guys who made that nifty ‘Here It Goes Again’ video with the treadmills. Well now they’ve apparently laid down several yards of music instruments in a desert, and have fitted a car with various arms and attachments to play those instruments while driving by. It’s pretty zany.

There are true Internet Masters at work here, people.

Simpsons Vocal Cover

If the creators of the Simpsons like getting crazy with their opening credits, they could do worse than turning an episode over to this guy, Nick McKaig. This is apparently his shtick when it comes to Youtube, but this Simpsons video he posted a few weeks ago is just delightful. It’s no ‘Do the Bartman’, but take a listen!
