Is Captain America Going to Have to Murder Everyone?
I’ve written extensively about my love of Legos on this blog, but I’ve never really gotten into also loving the people who make stop-motion Lego animation. Well Forrest Fire Films has gone ahead and produced a brilliant Captain America Lego clip where Cap kicks a lot of ass. Definitely worth a view.
If you can stomach the incredible amounts of gore in the video. What the hell, Cap?
Funny and Adorable Superhero Thing
Update: The clip was finally posted on Youtube! Hooray!
I hate that I haven’t been able to figure out how to embed any sort of video other than youtube. I don’t know if this blog can even do that, or if I simply haven’t figured it out yet. So to see this adorable clip of claymation superheroes, you’re just going to have to follow this link.
It’s well worth it, trust me.
FDR v. Nazi Werewolves 4 Hire
This is absolutely wrong, but so, so deliciously right in so many ways. We have so many memorable quotes (and Doctor Who appearances) from Churchill, and I think it’s only right that Roosevelt should be immortalised in some special way across the pond.
And in flamboyant American fashion, I like to think this is it.
Shit Goblins.
Instead of Blackout, We’re Just Gonna Post More Funny Batman Stuff
I’d considered not posting anything today to solidify my stance against SOPA and PIPA, but then I just kept telling myself that it would seem more like I was being lazy than protesting. So I figured I’d at least spend a little time today showing people where they could go to learn more and what they can do to help protest. I’ve signed a few petitions, but personally I was always confident that these insane bills would fail anyway.
To learn more, check out Wikipedia’s information page. I think their blackout is badass. I fully support Internet protests of these two bills.
In the meantime though, here’s a fun Batman parody of the song ‘Moves like Jagger’ by Angie and Chad, the Screen Team.
Batman Goodness That Only the Internet Can Provide
I love trailer mash-ups. Where they take the audio from an existing movie trailer and then splice it with footage from something else, possibly related. Here’s a new one and a sort of good one, giving the latest The Dark Knight Rises trailer an extra animated feel. Not the best I’ve seen, but good enough for this slow weekend.
