The Problem With a John Black Batman

Leave it to ItsJustSomeRandomGuy to figure out the major problem with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Batman.

It’s too bad those Gordon-Levitt as Batman rumors were untrue. I still think it would be really neat to have Justice League take off from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Even if the two films have nothing else to do with each other, and the Justice League shouldn’t exist in Nolan’s films, it would still just be a cool bit of continuity. But the world is rarely as cool as he hope it will be. Thankfully, we’ve got videos like this to help us through these tough, Gordon-Levitt-less times.

Thanks to Javier for the find!

Cool Things to Find, A Parody

If only all parody videos were this catchy. It’s a parody of ‘Dumb Ways to Die’.

I love the art, I love the song; taking the ‘Dumb Ways to Die‘ video and making new version is just good Interneting. It’s also a little odd that this seems to be a legitimate video in its own right, like an ad for the Mars Curiosity Rover. This is a great way to celebrate and cherish Curiosity for all of its alien exploration. Speaking of which, has Curiosity found aliens on Mars yet? That’s why we set it up there, right?

The video was produced by Cinesaurus, which scores points for making their name sound like a dinosaur.

Game of Thrones is a Show About Nothing

A laugh track works surprisingly well on Game of Thrones. The geniuses at Matin Comedy thought this one up, and I tip my hat to them. Usually Game of Thrones is so bleak and horrible, but there’s humor in everything. I wouldn’t mind seeing a whole episode of bumbling Ned Stark and his clever next-door neighbor Tyrion Lannister.

Literal Iron Man 3 Trailer

Tobuscus is at it again with a Literal Iron Man 3 trailer! His videos have become some of the favorite music parodies I’ve ever posted on my blog!

Is that man a genius or what? I don’t know how well his songs actually match up to the music in the trailers, but I have to assume it’s good. He’s a lyrical master. I wish he produced more of these more often, I’d post every single one. Plus, this somehow gets me even more excited for Iron Man 3! So that’s pretty neat.

All the Guys Are Hunks at Gotham High

Apparently this was made by Oliver Nolan, son of actual Batman director Christopher Nolan. And if that’s the case, then hats off to everybody involved. This was good, real good. Why don’t we have a real show or move like this?
