Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Definitely Doesn’t Look Like It Takes Place in Hawaii
So there’s gonna be a legacy sequel to Beetlejuice. Michael Keaton proved in The Flash that he’s game for playing his famous characters from the 80s again, so here we are. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which obviously implies the desire to make a threequel eventually. I dunno. I just don’t care about this one.
But maybe other people care, so I share the trailer so you can decide for yourself. Seems like they’re taking all the afterlife infrastructure from the first film and blowing it up. It also looks like they’re really leaning into the aesthetics and goofiness of the first film, in a throwback sort of way. That might be interesting. But I never particularly cared for the first film, so I don’t particularly care about this sequel.
I loved the spin-off cartoon show for some reason though…
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice comes to theaters on…Sept. 6…which is my birthday. Gorramit.

Wicked Trailer Gives the Whole Story Away
But, like, Wicked has been a famous stage play for a very long time now, so who is really complaining? I’ve never even seen Wicked on stage, but I’m pretty sure I know the story just from listening to the song and general online discourse. Still, consider this a warning before you watch the trailer for the upcoming Wicked movie: it gives the whole story away.
I think this movie looks neat. I’m never going to see the Broadway show of Wicked, so a movie is right up my alley. It’s supposed to be a great production, with great songs, and I think this movie — the first of two parts — should do nicely for my viewing needs. I wanna see Wicked! And on the big screen is the way I see things, so bring it on!
Wicked comes to theaters on Nov. 26.

Galactus Cast!
So it looks like Galactus is going to be in the new Fantastic Four movie after all! We already know who’s going to play Silver Surfer, and now we’ve got actor Ralph Ineson as Galactus! I know I’ve seen him in plenty of things, I just can’t really picture anything off the top of my head. He does have a great voice, at least.
This is all fine by me. I know people will say they would have liked Mole Man or someone less all-encompassing for the first villain of the movie, but I’m fine with Galactus an the Silver Surfer. They are some of my all-time favorite comic book characters going back to my childhood, and the world deserves to see them done right on the big screen.
And I have to hope that Marvel knows they need to do Galactus right this time around. Surely they know what must be done…right?!
Anyway, word is that John Malkovitch and Paul Walter Hauser have also been cast in the movie, their roles not yet revealed. Neat! Loving the cast of this movie for sure!

Our First Look at the New Movie Superman
James Gunn posted this picture online today to reveal our first official look at the new movie Superman, played by actor David Corenswet. I think it looks great! This image is going to be picked apart by the various vultures on the internet, and I’m one of them, to a degree! Only my picking apart is all praise. Looks great to me.
I’m looking forward to this new movie — which comes out on July 11 next year. I have nothing but complete and total faith in James Gunn and his moviemaking. He’s going to make an incredible film! And he’s going to hopefully spearhead and incredible new DC Cinematic Universe.
The suit looks good to me. It’s a bit on the dark side, but that’s fine. Honestly, I would definitely prefer this look over some bright, skintight spandex. The suit looks good, the colors are good, the symbol is good; he’s apparently wearing the red trunks, which I fully support. The cape attachment looks fine to me. Yeah, I’ve got no real complaints! Bring on the new movie!

New Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer Does Not Disappoint!
Deadpool & Wolverine is, probably, the most highly anticipated movie of the year. It’s the only Marvel Studios movie this year, and caps off the much beloved and praised Deadpool trilogy. It’s got everything going for it, and, thankfully, looks awesome to boot!
That was great! Still not much revealed in terms of story or what’s going on, but there’s so much beautiful Deadpool & Wolverine action and humor! Loved the melodic “Like a Prayer” soundtrack. Loved the humor. Loved seeing Wolverine in costume with his arms bare. Loved the MCU Easter Eggs. This thing looks awesome!
Deadpool & Wolverine comes to theaters on July 26!
