A Million Murdered Robot Souls!
I told you I was going to have to keep an eye on those James Lee Animation people. Behold, Tar Boy!
My girlfriend was checking out their Youtube channel after that awesome Batman vs. Bronies cartoon, and she found this gem from all the way back in 2009. It’s a pretty nifty cartoon, and wickedly diabolical, about a fella named Tar Boy and his vicious revenge!
I wish beyond all wishes that I had this kind of artistic talent. Instead, I was blessed with a writing ability. So I guess the universe balances out somehow.
Batman vs. Bronies!
My love for Batman and my love for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are well documented on this blog. But what happens when the Dark Knight turns his attention on this potentially insidious pop culture clique?
That was awesome, and so incredibly well drawn! That is some quality animation right there. The cartoon was made by James Lee Animation, who I’m going to have to keep an eye on for future gems!
Mario and Luigi Rock Out A Cappella Style
Went away to an old friend’s wedding overnight, so I wasn’t around to update this old girl. Though I did find out that one of my friends is a big fan. So that’s always fun. I’m going to try to get some more posts up in the coming week, including reviews to Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 DVD and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Let’s hope I can find the time!
For now, enjoy this pretty neat A Cappella jam of Super Mario Bros. themes! Done by Nick McKaig and Julien Neel (Trudbol).
The Greatest S.H.I.E.L.D. Job Application Ever
Want to get a job working on Joss Whedon’s upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. television show? Well you’re going to have to get in line behind Adam Levermore, because he has gone above and beyond the call of job hunting duty.
What the heck was Grant Imahara doing there?
Anyway, Levermore and his C-List Hollywood buddies made that as an audition, of sorts, to be a graphic designer on Whedon’s new show. That is amazing. That is truly geektacular. I hope he gets the job now. Granted, I don’t know if he’s any good as a graphic designer. But that’s impressive nonetheless.
Portal 2 Animation is the Bee’s Knees
Somebody took a 40-second clip of Portal 2 dialogue and made this cute little animation out of it. I applaud that kind of forward thinking.
A little weird that they made all the robots into humans, but nothing wrong with that in the end! It’s much more expressive and delightful that way. Big props to Not Quite Normal!
