They Sunk Liam Neeson’s Battleship
The trailer for the movie Battleship has been released and I don’t see what the problem is. I’ll admit that there is nothing more ludicrous creatively than Hollywood snatching up recognizable brand names to attach to their movies. It’s borderline insulting to movie audiences. But then movie audiences sometimes need to be insulted. But after watching the trailer, I don’t think this is a big deal. Battleships are cool. And I don’t know of any other movie with a focus on battleships. Throw in some aliens, some explosions, Liam Neeson, and a dashing young stud and you’ve got yourself a movie, mister!

What really stinks (aside from your video being blocked) is that they’re making a Candy Land movie. And it is going to be a fantasy epic (LoTR-esque) movie. And that was so my idea! I know you’ve never seen my one-act plays, but one of these days I’ll get “The Legend of Candy Land” up on The Youtube and you’ll see awesomeness.
Stupid Hollywood and their making it completely impossible for originality.
I wanted to do a Candy Land graphic novel that would have made Lewis Carroll jealous.
Alas.
Really? The video is blocked? It’s just a Youtube clip. Maybe you just can’t watch them from work. I can’t watch Youtube from my work computer.
And it seems Candy Land is a hot property. If you get your play up on Youtube, it’s definitely going on my blog. We’ll get it out to the world…of people who read my blog.
