Netflix’s next big cartoon hit is apparently going to be a Carmen Sandiego cartoon. And they’ve added a twist in that she’s a hero now. She’s still a thief, but she steals things that bad guy thieves are trying to steal before they can steal them.

I guess.

I’m a huge fan of Netflix cartoons. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was one of my favorite overall shows last year — and come back Wednesday for a not-at-all timely List of Six about my thoughts on the show — so here’s hoping this new cartoon is just as good. I’m not a fan of the premise, at least not at this surface level. Why not make a cartoon about a bad guy? Encourage kids that stealing is cool!

We’ll see how it goes!
